Biggin, have you ever been a fan....a true fan....to a perennial loser? When the team you support comes up short for so long anything but the league champion will not suffice. I can definitely empathize with MikMo. I'm a Broncos fan. Sure they won 2 Superbowls. But what it like before and what's it been after? You've been spoiled as a Niner fan.

ive been spoiled?????

im only 22.
the niners glory days were before my time.
i can only vividly remember one SB win in 94.
Since 2000, my team has been almost as bad as any.

so yeah, i know how to deal with a perennial loser, and i also know if they managed to make it to the NFC title game when they were lucky to make the playoffs, id be ecstatic

EDIT-and i wasnt alive for the bear bryant ages, so ive dealt with some bad Alabama teams as well. I know how to deal with losing

Ok, I'll give you that much. But come back in 15 years or so after they never do any better and see how you feel. I realize you're young and think you'll always feel the same way but time does funny things to people.

oh i have an idea, did you forget the SEC title game and the Sugar Bowl two years ago?

i know what its like to be right on the cusp and lose.

like the NFC title game against GB years ago, etc..

but Alabama made it all sweet this year, the 20 years of mediocrity paid off, and it felt so sweet.
